In my statistics class my professor said you can like males or females. Not both (in talking about mutually exclusive events).

    Its amazing (and disheartening) how prevalent biphobia is.

    My stats professor did something similar. Being male and female were mutually exclusive to her. When I and another women who does gender studies spoke up, very matter-of-fact-ly, that this was a bad example. My prof giggled like a 4 year that just said poopy, and said something like, well I guess if they are a hermaphrodite or something. . . . I was not amused.
