    Having grown up during the 1960s and early 70s when there was so much discussion of racism that no one was denying its existence, I find it hard to believe that so many white people think there’s no racism anymore. And on top of that, that so many conservatives get really hostile when there is ANY discussion of racism now.

    I’m not saying white conservatives are the onl,y people denying the existence of racism now. You can hear it from moderates and sorta-liberals too. And people who think they are liberal or progressive because of some non-race-related opinions that they hold.
