   I wonder how much personal experience the lesbian-identified woman in the OP actually had with bisexual women, or how much actual anecdotal experience from others she’d heard. “Never” implies a lot of data points. But speaking as a bisexual man who hangs out in the LG community, LG and straight people talk us down very easily.

   Our struggle to raise awareness and to get monosexual-identified people to stop trashing us verbally seems to be in the early stages.

   I was surprised to learn recently that bisexual people are SPECIFICALLY discriminated against in employment because our vaunted sexual flakiness proves that we are flaky and unreliable in all areas of our lives.
